The ‘Sad Clown with the Golden Voice’ is here with his heartfelt anthems and a suitcase full of Kleenex!  This Pity Party is not all sadness and longing. The show is peppered with a brilliant sense of the absurd, mixing lots of humor with the awkward, tender moments. A veritable “Pagliacci by way of Pee-Wee Herman and David Lynch” (The AJC), Puddles Pity Party has 305k fans on Facebook and over 120 million views on YouTube for indelible interpretations of classics by ABBA, Bowie, Cheap Trick and Queen and his unforgettable mash-up of “Pinball Wizard/Folsom Prison Blues”.  You may recognize him from his recent appearances on America’s Got Talent and viral video collaborations with Postmodern Jukebox.

Brian Wilson presents Pet Sounds: The Final Performances with special guests Al Jardine and Blondie Chaplin

In 1965, with The Beach Boys out on tour, Brian Wilson began session work on some of the most deeply personal recordings of his career. Inspired by The Beatles Rubber Soul, he challenged himself to create an immaculate musical masterpiece. A vast departure from the then band’s commercial sound, the resulting Pet Sounds “concept album” achieved great critical success helping usher in a new musical landscape. Now Wilson and his band, joined by former bandmates Al Jardine and Blondie Chaplin, continue their sold-out, critically-acclaimed tour that includes a live performance of Pet Sounds in its entirety along with top hits and fan favorites.

Black Violin is composed of classically trained violist and violinist Wil B. And Kev Marcus, who combine their classical training and hip-hop influences to create a distinctive multi-genre sound that is often described as “classical boom.” Black Violin has shared stages with top names including Kanye West, Aerosmith and Tom Petty, and has creatively collaborated with the likes of Wu-Tang Clan, Wyclef Jean and Alicia Keys.

The duo composed music for the television series Pitch which debuted on FOX in 2016, in addition to appearances on HBO’s BallersThe Tonight Show, The Wendy Williams Show, and The Ellen Show.

In addition, Black Violin has performed for more than 100,000 students in the past 12 months throughout North America and Europe. The band is endorsed by Yamaha Music, and has partnered with the National Association for Music Manufacturers (NAMM) to continue their advocacy for accessible music education.

The band’s most recent record, Stereotypes, debuted at #1 on the Billboard Classical Crossover Chart and #4 on the Billboard R&B Chart. NPR praised the album and band, saying “their music will keep classical music alive for the next generation.”
