John Hiatt & The Goners featuring Sonny Landreth bring Slow Turning 30th Anniversary Tour to Raleigh, Wilmington, Augusta
John Hiatt & The Goners featuring Sonny Landreth reunite to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Hiatt's outstanding "Slow Turning" album, with stops that include the Miller Theater in Augusta, GA, Wilson Center in Wilmington, NC and Duke Energy Center in Raleigh, NC. Tickets go on sale Friday, April 27 at 10 a.m.
The show will include include the album in its entirety, as well as Hiatt's greatest hits. "Slow Turning," released in 1988, was Hiatt's ninth album and gave him a radio hit from the title song. The lead track, "Drive South" was a country hit for Suzy Bogguss in the early 1990s. Hiatt was backed by The Goners including the legendary slide guitarist Landreth.
